Bluestone patios, walkways and steps

We have been working on a large ocean-side project with Pacific Ridge landscapes these past two weeks. Merle and his team with Pacific Ridge designed, sighted, and poured the concrete pads upon which we are now mortaring bluestone.

Here’s one of three ocean view patios that have been constructed so far:

And a nicely curved set of double wide garden steps towards a lower patio:

This is a beautiful property that has been transformed from a scraggly brush mess to a very usable and tidy outdoor space. We can’t wait to share with you the spectacular patio views of Mt. Baker, our resident Orca pod which frequently visits, and a glorious sunrise to wake up to.

Finished product to come shortly!

Bluestone pathway project.

This project is a backyard pathway upgrade from existing gravel and rustic stair treads, to a finished bluestone surface.

┬áSet in sand atop a compacted roadbase, these 1-1/2″ to 2″ bluestone pavers are a great way to turn any outdoor surface into a smooth, clean, usable space.

As an add-on to this original patio area that I built, the new pathway is the final connection from the front of this immaculate property to the back.
